Theory of Bran Stark, Mad King and Brandon the Builder
Here is a theory that relates Bran Stark, the Mad King and Brandon the Builder; Bran could be the one who caused Aerys II Targaryen to become the Mad King, and he could be Brandon the Wall Builder himself.

Now that it is confirmed that Bran’s presence in the past can alter the history and felt by individuals in his visions, new theories are coming up.

In the Game of Thrones season 6 episode 5; The Door, we saw his presence caused Wyllis’ transformation from a stable boy to Hodor from the constant shouting from Meera for him to hold the door and made him repeat the ‘hold door’ words until those words become the only word he could say.

Bran and Night's King

The Night’s King wasn’t only able to see him, but also touched him and it led him to find their hideout in the Bloodraven’s cave.

Bran and young Ned Stark

We also saw Ned turning around when he heard Bran calling for him, so it is confirmed he can reach and tell people in the past about things.

It is also well known that long ago, King Aerys II Targaryen was a just king, he was loved by his subjects, he brought peace and prosperity to Westeros.

However, at one point of his life, he became insane and obsessed with fire. It is possible that when Bran visited him in his vision, he showed Aerys II the vision of the White Walker army and the only way to kill them was to burn them all.

When he said ‘Burn Them All’ before being slain by Jaime Lannister, he probably meant the White Walker Army, and not the Kings Landing.

Bran and Mad King, burn them all

Also, Bran probably went back in time to build the Wall to help prevent the White Walker Army from going south.

When people asked his name, he just said ‘Bran’, thus the legend of Bran the Builder was created. He was also the founder of House Stark and the one who established that there must always be Starks at Winterfell to ensure that he comes to exist in the present.

Below is the conversation between Eddard Stark and Arya Stark;

Arya Stark: “He wants to be a knight of the Kingsguard. He can’t be one now, can he?”

Eddard Stark: “No. But someday he could be lord of a holdfast or sit on the King’s council. Or he might raise castles, like Brandon the Builder.”
— Arya and Eddard talk about Bran’s future.

That ‘future’ could be Bran going back and become Brandon the Builder himself and then set ‘The Game of Thrones’ in motion when he drove Aerys II Targaryen into becoming the Mad King.

Does it make sense?
