The King in the North; The Winds of Winter

★★★★ GoT S6 Finale is wrapped, R+L=J is confirmed, and Jon Snow elected as The King in The North. Dany marches to Westeros with her massive army.

Another masterpiece from Miguel Sapochnik. After making our jaws dropped in the Battle of the Bastards, he made us do that again in this Game of Thrones season 6 finale; ‘The Winds of Winter’.

The episode started with Grand Meyster Pycelle getting killed by little birds and then revealed the massive amount of Wildfyre underneath the seph, which killed everyone when they exploded, including the High Sparrow, Margaery and Loras Tyrell, Kevan and Lancel Lannister and the whole Faith Militant.

After realizing his queen is dead in the explosion, King Tommen Baratheon threw himself off the window and died, which fulfilled the prophecy that Cersei will outlive all her children.

In the east, Daenerys Targaryen has gathered massive army and fleet, and started sailing west along with her massive dragons.

Dany's massive fleet

Tyrion Lannister has finally found a reason to live, as he swore allegiance to the Dragon Queen and appointed as Hand of the Queen by Dany.

After having a feast for the Lannisters, Walder Frey expected his sons first thing in the morning, only to be served a pie, made of…. his sons, by…. Arya Stark.

Arya has come back from Braavos to kill off the remaining names on her list, and she started with Walder Frey who killed her brother, Robb Stark in the Red Wedding.

In the north, Littlefinger wants to bed marry Sansa Stark, but she refused him. Jon tells Sansa she is the Lady of Winterfell and the rightful ruler of the north.

Lady Lyanna Mormont had other idea however, as she announced her fealty to Jon Snow as the King in the North, which agreed by other Northern Lords and they all made him The King in The North, despite his status as a bastard.

Further north, Bran Stark as the three eyed raven finally revealed something we had been waiting forever; the confirmation of R+L=J (Rhaegar Targaryen + Lyanna Stark = Jon Snow).

Ned Stark rushed up the Tower of Joy, finding his sister, Lyanna Stark on her death bed. Before she dies, she made Ned Stark to promise her to protect ‘him’, while a nurse bringing ‘him’ to Ned.

In disbelief, Ned and Bran looked at the baby boy who is the offspring of the Targaryen and Stark, and the boy is Jon Snow. So…. Jon is Jon Targaryen Stark the White Wolf?
